Barre is a low impact, high endurance class that will whip you into tip top shape and have you feeling muscles you didn't know you had!

Barre on the farm is my own personal adaptation of Fit Barre, Pilates and dance, set to upbeat music and taught by your biggest cheerleader- ME!

This class gives you the 'dancer' legs, toned upper body and poise of a distinguished ballerina, boosting your confidence while reminding you "you can absolutely do hard things!"

What to bring: A yoga mat and water. You can also bring light weights of your choice, if you choose.

What to wear: work-out clothes, grippy socks (if you prefer) or sneakers (if you prefer.) This class is generally practiced barefoot. Legwarmers not required ;)

(Top-rockin' refers to the movement break dancers do before they hit the ground.)

Top Rockers are sessions are for teens and tweens who have limited to no dance/movement experience.

Anyone can learn to dance and if your child has expressed interest in learning this, I highly encourage you put them in. The time is now!

In class, students can expect to learn

• what confidence looks like
• what courage feels like
• team building skills
• public appearance skills
• discipline & accountability
• elements of stage performance
• that their input is important
• that there is a whole group of friends waiting to share this experience with them!

All students registered will peform in our 7th annual House Party held in June. (Location TBD.)

Classes are held on Mondays from 5:30 to 6:45 on The Family Farm.

Please have students wear comfy weather appropriate clothes and sneakers.

"When I was little, I wanted to be a dancer!"

Do you understand the amount of times I have heard this in my life?! So many. And I am ready to give your little inner children their dream moment!

When I speak about your inner child (or children,) she/they are the ones that love to Play. She loves to be silly, have fun, find joy in the moment and be in the flow. She's curious, asks questions, and doesn't judge or criticize herself or others. Have you seen her lately?! She's in there!

(I am also speaking to and about your inner teen, inner diva, inner freak, and inner Queen. They are allllll invited to the party! But to be clear, I will continue to use "inner child.")

This may be bold, but I am just the person to bring her out to dance and play. This is my specialty. And she is READY, otherwise you wouldn't be reading this description right now.

These 4 sessions are laid back but we will get work done. Each class is 1.25 hours long.

These sessions will be choreography based, so you know that you will actually learn dance moves in a routine style. This is not a loose/freestyle session, like Body Talk. A lot of women prefer the structure of dance moves taught in routine. *request heard and answered*

Committing this time to yourself is a GIFT you give to you.

Committing to your inner child that she gets to try something, in safe space, is a GIFT you give to you.

Feeling how it feels to come home to your body is a GIFT you give to you.

We are QUICK to put everyone else's wants and needs to the top of the list. It's our turn, ladies, to put ourselves at the top. We deserve it.

"Rhythm Explorers" or RHYTHM EX is for new students around ages 7 and 10. (All movers are placed at director's discretion.)

Students in this class will experience 

• learning choreography
• elements of stage performance
• sweet, sweet dance moves
• public speaking and presentation skills
• how to trust their bodies
• working as teams and individuals
• that they really are a Star!

Classes are held on Tuesdays from 5:00-6:15 on The Family Farm.

Please have students wear comfy weather appropriate clothes and sneakers.

All students registered will perform in our 7th annualHouse Party event. (Location TBD.)

Mindful Movement with Lizy Maratea

Ease back into your body after the holiday season with a restorative blend of gentle stretching and intentional movement.

This class is designed to support rejuvenation, release tension, and revive your natural vitality.

With over ten years of teaching experience, Lizy creates a calm, welcoming space for all levels to reconnect, reset, and breathe deeply again.

Just bring a mat—and a willingness to unwind.

Fridays at 6 pm, please arrive early to set up.

1/9 - 2/20 (no class 2/6)

The M&Ms are a studio & crowd favorite!!

M&Ms are for our 3 to 5 year old friends who just wanna wiggle, jiggle and giggle! 

All students registered will be in our 7th annual "House Party" end of the season party held in June. Location TBD.

Classes are held on Wednesdays from 5:00 to 5:50 on The Family Farm.

Please have students wear comfy weather appropriate clothes and sneakers.

Focus: Exploring movement, rhythm, and imagination through play, singing, acting.

Skills: Basic motor skills, musicality, creative play, social interaction.

The Creative Movement is NOT a place that will force your child to dance, but offer them the choice to. Everyone comes to movement in their own time!

GROOVERS is for advanced students that have a few years experience in dance or with The Creative Movement. For new students, an assessment will provide insight to the level they will join.

Classes are held on Wednesdays from 7:15 to 8:30 on The Family Farm.

• All registrations are signing up and committing to classes and non-mandatory rehearsals and performances between sign up and June 2026. Allstudents will participate in our 7th annual House Party event in June. (Location TBD.)

The Creative Movement takes the stance of creating safe space for people to explore movement in their bodies. We work as a team and handle matters as they arise, to lead by example. Dance and play are the vehicles with which we speak, but we also know students learn skills that will serve them in their lifetime.
